Brendan Mari - Guitar Teacher
Graduating from the University of Newcastle in 2018, Brendan received his Bachelor of Music; double majoring in Guitar Performance and Creative Production. Currently, he has over 11 years of guitar playing and performing experience. Within these years he has also gained experience as a studio and live sound engineer.
Although he specialises mostly in Progressive Rock / Metal music; Brendan also has a very deep passion and appreciation for Jazz-Fusion and Neo-Soul and is very welcoming to many styles of music. Brendan will base lessons on the particular needs of each student and will always provide continual support and motivation.
Brendan hopes to inspire and support students by encouraging them to perfect their techniques practically and theoretically, to explore the element of diversity as musicians, to build confidence in performing; but most importantly, to demonstrate to students the energy and joy of seeking out their passions for music.
