Geoff Davies - Saxophone & Clarinet Teacher
From the age of six Geoff has enjoyed playing music. He has many years of experience playing the clarinet and saxophone in concert, marching and swing bands. Geoff has also played in classical, pop/rock and jazz groups.
He has a depth of knowledge about all aspects of woodwind instruments gained through selling and repairing instruments in Woodwind and Brass Music Stores.
Geoff recently moved to the Central Coast from Sydney where he taught clarinet and saxophone for 10 years at three primary schools and two music studios. His students ranged in age from six to 64 with different goals and music preferences from Pop and Jazz to Classical and Traditional Irish Songs.
He enjoys tailoring his teaching style to suit each student’s aptitude and goals so they enjoy their lessons while learning good technique.
He can teach all styles of music and prepare students for AMEB (Australian Music Examination Board) and SCSM (St. Cecilia School of Music) grading exams.
