We are very excited about hosting "Playing For Change Day" at our school this year! 

We think this is a great opportunity for our students to understand how fortunate they are and that they can also help other under-privileged children of the same age through music. Many of our teachers and students are performing and donating their time to help make this a very special event.

If you are free on Saturday 21st September, please come and join us to make a difference together!

Dai Pritchard is recognised as an in-demand, hard-working power player who brings an incredible arsenal of technical expertise, versatility and finesse to any project.

Dai’s experience and insight into the music industry is vast, having worked with some of the “Big names” like Jimmy Barnes, Glen Shorrock of LRB, Doug Parkinson, Marcia Hines, Billy Thorpe, the “Long Way to the Top” tour and Rose Tattoo.

We had 2 wonderful concerts today! It was such a musical marathon! and we can’t believe we actually all made it in a 40°C heat wave!!! 

The diversity of the program was so amazing. From classical to jazz, folk to rock and heavy metal, and of course, some Christmas songs. We even did Pink Floyd’s The Great Gig in the Sky!!! 

Congratulations to all the students who performed at the Concerts!! All the kids were absolutely amazing today and we are so proud of you all!!!

This Over 30’s Band Workshop band “3 Shades of Grey” was a great success!

“3 Shades of Grey” have been practicing every Friday night for the past few weeks and delivered a great concert tonight!

Here is one of the band members’ e-mails:

“Thanks again for a fantastic workshop and a really fun night performing to our family and friends. Having messed around for years at home on acoustic guitar, the chance to play electric guitar in a band was completely new to me and I was amazed we were able to learn so many songs in such a short time. 

I also really enjoyed getting together every Friday night and looked forward to it each week. I hope you run this again soon and encourage any other adults considering it to come along and ‘live the dream’ too.” ~ Mike Goodman

This holiday’s band was a great success!

“Voo Doo Chain” arose from the ashes to annihilate and devour all in their path. (Well......it seemed that way.) What a powerhouse trio these 13 year olds turned out to be. Definitely the coolest band to emerge so far from our band workshops.

Congratulations to all the students who performed at the Term 2 Winter Concerts!! YOU ROCK!!!

The Piano & Flute Concert was a great success! It’s so good to see our students perform live. We are so proud of you all. It just keeps getting better and better every time. Pu-Yu is so good with the students and it really shows, and a big Thank You to Mr. Christian Marsh for doing such a great job of judging the concert and giving such a wonderful, supportive, and constructive speech. Much appreciated.

The Guitar & Vocal Concert was a lot of fun. It’s always a challenge with guitar and vocals, but as usual, our students rose to the occasion and we’re very proud of each and everyone of you. Well done.

The Drum Concert was a blast. The best drum concert so far and really looking forward to the next one. It’s great to have a live venue in the school where students can get up on stage in front of an audience and make some noise. Keep up the good work.
